3. Admission Decision

Acceptance of a child is based on several factors. The most important is the match of the family's and the school's educational goals for the child. One of our goals is to maintain gender and age balance within the classrooms, as well as families committed to the entirety of the program. Acceptances takes place the middle of February.

With the increasing number of applications received every year, a waitlist is put in place once there are no more available spaces. If you are on the waitlist you will be notified when a place becomes available.

4. Enrollment

Accompanying the acceptance letter is an Enrollment Contract which must be completed and returned to the school with the $500.00 non-refundable tuition deposit within fourteen days. Upon receipt of your tuition deposit, we will hold a place for your child in our program.

Completion of our Children's House and/or Elementary

Enrollment in an AMI Montessori school is dependent upon children completing each program in its entirety. For Children's House this is the kindergarten year and for elementary this is sixth grade. The integrity of our Montessori Philosophy is dependent on the consistency and continuity of the classroom community.

St. Croix Montessori School accepts families who are committed to remain through the duration of the Children's House and/or Elementary programs. Families should be aware that if one child in the family does not complete the kindergarten year, younger siblings may not be accepted for enrollment/re-enrollment and the same hold true for our elementary program. Exceptions are made for children with special learning needs.

If you think your child would thrive in a Montessori environment, give us a call or schedule a tour online.
