Karing has been involved with Montessori education since 1972; first as a volunteer, then as a parent, and now as a teacher.  She has been with St. Croix Montessori since its opening in our present location in 1995.  She lives on the school property in the farm house and oversees the animal care.  Her outside interests include gardening, exercise, music, friends, travel and volunteering on our property as we transition from old farm fields to native habitat and environmental learning center.

Christine Winkelman - Assistant

Christine was a Montessori child.  She earned a degree in Speech Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and she has over 10 years of experience working in a Montessori classroom.  She is married and has 2 sons.  In her spare time Christine loves to hike, read and cook with her husband and sons!
