What is inside my body? How can I see, feel, hear, smell and taste things? Come and find out about the wonders and workings of the human body and senses.
Week 3 June 23 – June 27 Field Trip
Night Animals
Which animals come out at night? How do they find food in the dark? Where do they go during the day? You will find answers and lots more about the secret world of the night animals during this week. We are going to visit the Raptor Center in Minneapolis.

America, the Beautiful
Calling all patriots! Meet the most courageous and famous heroes our country has ever known. Follow the lives of powerful presidents, brave explorers and pioneering astronauts. Learn about our flag and the most important periods of American history.

Sea, Sand and Shells
Life is incredibly rich in and around the sea. Have you ever wondered what sand is made from? Why do so many creatures live in the sea? How are shells made and how are they used for protection? We will dive deep under the sea to find some answers. |
Week 6 July 14 – July 18
Explore St. Croix Valley Field Trip
Nestled between Minnesota and Wisconsin in a picturesque valley, the St.Croix river flows between bluffs of limestone and sandstone. Historic rivertowns and spectacular scenery surround its flow. Yes, this is right next to us. We just have to take a good look to find out more about it.
We will float down on the St. Croix River on a paddle boat to admire all this beauty.
Week 7 July 21 – July 25
Viva el Espanol!
Participate in this interactive Spanish Camp: speak, sing, play and enjoy the opportunity of a closer contact with the South American cultures.
Week 8 July 28 – Aug 1
Sun, Moon and Planets Field Trip
Let’s take an imaginary voyage to our closest neighbors first, and then continue to some remote planets. We will look into the travels of famous astronauts and find out how they spend their days in space. We will encourage daily stargazing and plan to take a trip to Mars 3D.
Week 9 Aug 4 – Aug 8
Folk Music, Dances and Games
People sing, dance and play all around the world. We will choose a country from each continent and learn their songs, steps and games.
Week 10 Aug 11 – Aug 15
Love to be fit
This program offers youngsters the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of fun and active games in a cooperative way. We are going to have lots of interaction in a non-competitive atmosphere. |
